Made last minute reservations as this property was convenient to drive to and had good reviews. Happy with the cleanliness of the room, comfortable bed, plenty of shelf space to store luggage.

The pool was nice for kids. The street noise from the highway was very loud. The bathroom was dated and dirty. Tub did not drain. We had to get a new room bc the first room smelled like someone had had a fire in there.

The breakfast was nice a variety of food and hot food was hot and cold stuff was cold and was very good, we wasnt disturbed whole we stayed and the room was cleaned nicely, very nice staff.

We spoke to staff our first morning about the light in the bathroom not working and simply requested towels, neither was completed when we returned to our room. When we spoke to a staff member we were told "there's nothing I can do now, I'll leave a note". We spoke with someone again the next morning who assured us he would take care of it personally that day and it never happened. We used the flashlight on our cellphone to shower. And there was mold on the ceiling of the shower.

Not bad hotel, good area
Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Couple issues, one of the smoke alarms was beeping in one room and couldn't get it turned off both nights we were there. Also the front desk attendant told me he couldn't process our tax-exempt form.

Overall this hotel was fine. The hallways had a weird smell but the room was decent and beds were comfortable. One of the nightside plugs didn't work and the coffee cups in the room didn't have holes in them to drink from which was weird. The shampoo and body wash all smelled like pure oranges so unless you want to smell like a fruit tree, I'd bring your own. The free breakfast was pretty terrible and I ended up going elsewhere. In my room I could hear people walking around above me which was very annoying. Overall, wouldn't recommend staying here especially for the price.

Pool is not usable, needs some major attention.
The hotel itself was fine and had a better than average breakfast, but our main reason for picking this hotel for our 3 night stay was because they had a pool and we intended on using it every day that we were there. The pool was very murky, you couldn't see the botton clearly, and it was very cold, way too cold for an indoor pool. Hence, we were quite disappointed with our stay.

Bfst service was ok but the buffet ran out several times and we had to point it out to the staff. The room was not cleaned each day. The price and location was good. The bfst was good.

It seems nice enough upon arrival in lobby but upon getting into our 1st room, the refrigerator was sitting in the middle of the room leaking water all over the floor, they apologized and switched us to another room. The 2nd room was disgusting, specifically the beds. They were both made, but I could immediately see dirt and makeup on the pillows, I pulled back the sheets and was utterly disgusted. There were large soiled areas as well as dirt, makeup and a few other unknown substances all over the sheets. The towels were folded but looked dirty. I called the front desk requested all new bedding, but after waiting a while decided I couldn’t stay in that room. We went back down to the front desk and young lady was nice and provided us with another room (3rd times a charm right?). Upon entry to our 3rd room it smelled of cigarette smoke/dirty ashtray. Otherwise the room appeared to be nice enough & the sheets seemed clean, but when we walked into the bathroom, the entire ceiling as well as the grout had black mold spots all over. To top it off, were charged 4 times the normal rate because it was Purdue’s Family weekend and demand was high. I would hope someone in Best Western Management would read this review so that they can improve their cleaning and room inspection practices.
