"We stayed for 11 nights and the service was excellent.
The front desk was very helpful and Antonio provided any additional information we needed. The staff at Vapore became our good friends. My husband was very happy to chat with the guys about F1 and I enjoyed their attention to detail.
The location was perfect. The plaza, restaurants and shopping are all in walking distance and the selections are great. Most importantly, I felt safe walking alone even at night.
We cannot express how wonderful our stay was.
I would cannot wait to go back. I strongly recommend a room with a marina view.
The hotel is a glimpse of how wonderful the island!
We hope they remember us (the couple from Bermuda) for our next stay!
Shannon and Anthony"
"The hotel was beautiful, clean, modern and the staff were excellent. The staff were very helpful in planning day trips and making recommendations and even bookings for us. Th restaurant had delicious food with a different catch of the day every day and could easily accommodate my celiac diet. The views were stunning and it was wonderful to hear the ocean while eating at the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"This property was exceptional. The grounds were stunning - there’s a reason this place is a tourist destination. We felt incredibly lucky to actually be staying here. The wonder and atmosphere of the thermal pools cannot be overstated. At night, in the warmth of the pool, if the mist isn’t too heavy, the star-gazing is fantastic.
I traveled there with my 12-year-old daughter and the staff gave us an adult- and a petite, child-sized robe. She was thrilled! After a day of canyoning, coming back to the thermal pools in the evening was a perfect way to relax.
The restaurant was very good - beautiful presentation. It was expensive and chic. I gave 4 stars for the staff category only because of the restaurant. I was there as a mother alone with her child to make memories and enjoy a beautiful trip. Four of the six times we ate in the restaurant, we were seated facing a wall, behind a column, or otherwise hidden from the main dining area. We felt unwelcome and unable to enjoy the full experience of our very expensive stay. I was at the point where I was planning to ask to speak with the restaurant manager when the next time we visited, we were seated centrally. This was for breakfast by a mature woman whose smile reached her eyes. The older man who seated us for our first dinner there just barely hid that he rolled his eyes when he saw that we were his “party of two.”
Aside from the unpleasant dining experience, we loved Terra Nostra. Tina, the Night Manager was an angel, so kind!"
"Excellent experience at the Caloura! Rooms, lobby, staff, restaurant, bar, pool, setting…Everything was wonderful! Highly recommend!
Only issue we had was no spa services. Apparently they could not fill that role on their staff for this summer. My daughter was really looking forward to a spa day and although this was listed on their website, it was not an option. An unpleasant surprise amid an otherwise spectacular experience."
"The apartment was really nice, clean, modern and spacious for 4 of us. The air con was good and kept us cool and we got great WiFi signal. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with reduced mobility, our room did not have a balcony which we definitely missed. But you can probably be specific on your booking if you want one. The pool provided beautiful views and wasn't cold. The larger pool is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and pretty bare, there are loungers but no options for shade. It looks as though some work may be due to take place around there. We did not have breakfast at the onsite restaurant, we did enjoy a lunch and an evening meal there. The food was delicious but a little pricey, so probably not ideal to eat there every day. We managed to cook two pasta meals in the apartment using the small hob. There is no oven but there was a microwave and a dishwasher which was useful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it."
