Large room set amongst a beautiful garden
Delicious Breakfast was served on the balcony of the main house overlooking a much loved garden and watching the birds feeding . Loved our stay. Room was large and clean .

This property exceeded expectations. Set in beautiful lush gardens with an abundance of wildlife. Room was modern Federation style with all amenities (tea/coffee)and lovely Balinese fabrics throughout. Breakfast to die for eaten on the verandah of hosts house. Great experience and we will definitely be back.

The place is very clean. Very peaceful place. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Liked the oversized bathroom. Would love to come back again for a longer stay.

Fantastic service, so friendly and compassionate, able to assist all requirements, the gardens are gorgeous, so quiet, pet friendly and very accomodating! Tranquil, picturesque, beautiful comfy bed, great breakfast with options. Simply beautiful!

Homely & Comforable
Shane was very welcoming and he was approachable with all our needs. Hubby has Parkinson’s and he made sure that he a suitable room which was comfortable and met what we required. The country environment was beautiful and homely. Breakfast was of a very high quality and could choose what we would like. We loved it there so much that if we ever require accommodation in the vicinity, we will choose to stay at Lagoon Pocket B&B.

Very pleasant stay at Lagoon Pocket B&B. Shane is fantastic. Lovely relaxing time with good breakfast every morning. The rooms were cosy and great and our two little dogs enjoyed the stay too.

Lagoon Pocket is a little oasis. It's exterior belies what lies inside. We stayed there 13 years ago thinking it may not be as good but was even better. Spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, excellent facilities and a beautiful setting. You can choose your own breakfast time, what you would like to eat and chat to the host while he cooks your choice of food. All this with the beatiful setting and with the local birds flying around. Would highly recommend.

We will be back!
Stayed 2 nights while visiting relatives. Lovely comfortable cabin set up with all you could desire in a BnB. Tastefully decorated with comfortable lounging chairs and day bed made our relaxing time very pleasant. Breakfast on the verandah was hearty and enhanced by the company of our lovely host. A pleasant walk around the grounds revealed many birds and animals. Would be good for kids.

Very amiable host. Loved the rooms, large bedroom / sitting area and big bathroom. Good breakfast on verandah looking out onto lovely gardens. Tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. Comfy bed. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Undercover parking.

Hidden gem serene setting garden retreat
Wonderful peaceful natural atmosphere. The gardens both around the property & arrangements around the house & on the breakfast verandah made it worthwhile staying! Shane & Guy have done an amazing job maintaining the whole area with care & consideration for every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing in our room, wandering the property or sitting out the back in the peaceful garden setting. Shane served us a generous breakfast & we certainly were satisfied. Lagoon Pocket B&B is all about beautiful surroundings & a peaceful retreat. Congratulations on this hidden gem which is also near state forest parks & Gympie if you want a variety of dining experiences. We'll be back! Peter & Sue :) :)

Worth the extra few kms to get their
Very nice place to stay away from the highway noise. We sign posted just outside Gympie. Beautiful location wonderful service and a fantastic breakfast.

Diese Unterkunft war eine der großen und positiven Überraschungen unserer Australienrundreise. Etwas außerhalb von Gympie gelegen (ca. 8 Minuten Fahrt) hatten wir ein ganz tolles B&B in einen großen Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Bett und modernem Badezimmer. Es gab eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten und einem herrlichen Sternenhimmel. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und wir hatten einen herzlichen Empfang. Das angebotene, für uns frisch zubereitete Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Definitiv ist dieses B&B eine Empfehlung!

Great stay! Highly recommend this place!! We booked all three rooms, they were all very spacious, clean and well furnished. Had a really yummy freshly cooked breakfast the next morning, and the hosts were really friendly and great communicators, they even took the time to take us for a walk around their gardens so the kids could meet all their animals. We would certainly stay here again.

A wonderfully warm welcome awaited us. The room was very spacious, private and beautifully decorated. The delicious full breakfast was served in the cosy homestead by friendly hosts. Perfect.

Peaceful pet friendly stay with great hosts
I can not thank enough for Suzannah and James for their hospitality and the excellent breakfast they served. It is a very peaceful part of the Hinterland, very close to Gympie and 40 minutes drive to Noosa. We stayed 3 nights which was excellent. The cottage has facilities for a short stay (no cooking) but there is a small bar fridge to store smaller items plus Coffee and tea making facilities. We loved the beautiful garden and the wildlife (possums, wild turkeys etc) Our dog also loved the stay, I am sure we will be back.

Lovely friendly B&B in quiet, peaceful area
Extremely helpful, warm, friendly and accommodating hosts. Rooms are lovely, cute longstitch and cross stitch pillows and wall decorations, nice bedding and good towels. The room was comfortable and clean, and the surrounding gardens were beautiful in flower and attracted some lovely insect life and colourful butterflies. Our dog was very happy running around the garden on her long line lead, and met some of the other dogs staying at the same time. Everyone was so friendly and it was a wonderful experience. We mostly wanted to get away from everything for a while, and the hosts were very accommodating of what we were looking for. They helped us find places to eat and gave us lovely breakfasts when we asked, and were also very respectful of our personal space - also good to have a short friendly chat to when we saw them in passing. Thank you for giving us a wonderful few days' break from a hectic Christmas!

Best dog friendly B&B we've found. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent, friendly and helpful stay
We highly recommend this B&B both James and Suzannah are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent - great home cooking - fresh and delicious. I like ice in the fridge and that was replaced without asking. It was fun at breakfast sharing travel tales with our hosts and other guests - a very friendly atmosphere and a great start to the day.
