"The room was clean but the headboards were scratched up and looked dirty. I would replace them if I owned the resort. The hot tub worked fine, was hot but had no lights whatsoever in it or around it. Just street lights. The front desk worker was doing her best but it was only her second day on the job and she was left alone. That's not right to do to your staff. She was struggling with basic check because she was not properly trained and did not know what to do. She was problem solving and called another manager to walk her through things. She was very attentive and helpful but could not answer basic questions about the property. Being so new, she should have had a second person working with her. That is not professional to leave an entire resort in the hands of someone who is not properly trained and so new. "

"I was very impressed with how nice our room was. We stayed a Sunday nigh in March 2026 and got a great price ~$90 with all taxes included. The room was super clean, bedding was clean and comfortable. I liked that we had 2 queens beds plus a love seat and coffee table. Also had a sliding glass door to our own patio. Close to restaurants, grocery store and gas station. Off the road enough to provide a quiet experience. I would definitely stay here again. The "snacks" offering in the morning was pretty meager but for price that wasn't a big deal."

"We have stayed in every room in the lodge! And this was our first time staying in one of the cabin types. GLORIOUS! Peaceful, inviting and private for two. The bed was a cloud. As always we loved to wine treat for guests. Delicious Samuel Roberts Vineyard this trip. Excellent selection and the Pinot Noir was a delight. Thanks for the peaceful break from our early spring hiking adventure!"
