“We checked into room 204. As I was reading in bed, I saw a bed bug crawl toward me on the bed sheet. I killed it, put it into a tissue, and took it to the front desk. The motel staff were incredibly kind and responsive, and they moved us into another room. We checked the beds in the new room and saw no evidence of bed bugs, so we spent the night there. The mattresses were uncomfortable; old and with low spots on both sides of the bed. I had to sleep in the middle of the bed just to find a flat...
