Scotty's Lakeside Resort

"There isn't one bad thing I can say about this hotel. It's only a five-minute drive to the main shopping center, or you can enjoy a nice walk there if you prefer. The hotel has everything you need, including a heated pool, a lake, plenty of lounge chairs, and on-site kayak and paddle boat rentals. There is also a small arcade. While it's a fun idea, it's quite old, runs on quarters, and some of the machines occasionally keep your coins, so I wouldn't recommend spending much time there. This hotel is definitely family-friendly and offers plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. They also have food available on-site, which is very convenient. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly place to stay."

"We loved many things about this hotel and would stay again. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and updated. The outdoor pool is large and there were always chairs, and it was nice to have food service in the area. The indoor pool is smaller, lit and heated, my kids loves it. The grounds were gorgeous and we could t get enough of the lake view. We walked everywhere, easy access/very close to the village, boats, mini golf. We LOVED the fort, so cool! Good deal, a ticket gets you two days. The food was mediocre, but service was good and all were very friendly. The menu and chef changed right after we left, so food may be better now."

"If you’re looking for a reasonable price hotel in walking distance of everything.. this is a great choice.. staff was friendly and everything was clean and well kept.. only down fall is no free breakfast but not a big deal.."

"I was lucky enough to enjoy a lakefront room. The room was bright, the view was heaven, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly. Check in was smooth, the beach was clean, I was able to score a lounger chair. 10/10 experience. The only down side was the wifi was shoddy."
