“on expedia, the motel is listed with a pool and hot tub. I was traveling with my 7 yo granddaughter, and drove from winnemucca to lakeview with an evening in the pool anticipated. When we arrived , there was a sign indicating the pool and spa have been closed. The desk person said there are no plans to open them-- they had just taken pictures, and planned on updating the description on expedia. I asked for a price adjustment, was told I need to contact expedia. I sent expedia a message 2...

“It was clean. Very aged building and very unmatched furniture. No phone in the room. Not what I expected from an Expedia supported property. The TV only carried basic TV so only very few local channels and no national news channels that I could find. Some choices just came up “unavailable “. The TV was so large it took up most of the wall. I could not read the room #on the key fob and had to go back to tell me the room number again. ”

“Never saw a staff member once, even after multiple trips to the front office. odd”

“They refused to accept the reservation I made with Expedia for $445.40 and charged me $480.10. They said I should seek a refund from Expedia and that Expedia miscalculated their fees and taxes. Please do not pay them any of my Expedia credits and reimburse me $34.70.”

“The room was Pet friendly- When i checked in the motel representative showed me a letter on the counter from the City of Lakeview explaining why the water smelt like sulfur.......everything was filthy- bedding didn't smell clean- lots of Mold throughout the room- floor was very spongy- i have Never paid for a room like this before- but because we had our 12 lb doggy who is n his last days, we had to stay there. No other hotel in this town that would take pets. There were a few farmworker work...
