Top 12 was incredible! Beautiful rooms, amazing views, lovely service and very safe! They arranged a great tour guide for the Lalibela churches and the food was great. Rooms are so clean and comfortable! Owner was personally available for us anytime which was so indicative of Ethiopian hospitality. We will stay again!

Top twelve hotel was all and more than I was expecting. The warm welcome, hospitality and all round comfort were outstanding. I am a solo traveller from UK and recurved all the support and guidance I could have wished. Thank you to the very lovely owner and staff.

The area is recovering following a local conflict and without electricity for a year (July 22) having said that the hotel was spotless, the host couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Even with the difficulties, Lalibela is well worth visiting and safe.

This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.
