“Not being able to book a place near Stowe, we were thoroughly satisfied with Johnsbury. It was a 1+ hour drive to Stowe, but the scenery was beautiful and it worked out even better for us. (We did not spend as much time visiting Stowe as we thought we needed) Johnsbury was a great town with many good places to eat. We even ate in our room as the rooms were quite huge and equipped with fridge and microwave. ”
