"A self service hotel, with pin entry but we had 35m2 room on ground floor and were close to all Ghent highlights. Breakfast available and substantial.Parking we had to figure out, but was available in public carpark 300mtrs away at REEP carpark 36 eu/day."

"When I arrived the hotel was locked and unstaffed. There was a number to call posted on the door which was unobtainable. There phone number on the hotel website was not answered. I sat in a nearby park for an hour and when I returned the door was opened and a man was there to check me in. I pointed out that the mobile number posted on the door was unobtainable, but he didn’t seem concerned. When I left the same number was posted on the door."

"On the day of my reservation, I arrived at the hotel and no one answered the door or the phone. I returned to the property later and had the same result. I eventually found someone working in a garage bay and he told me the hotel was closed for renovations and that my reservation should have been cancelled. I immediately contacted Orbitz support and they said the hotel wasn't answering the phone. I had to book last-minute accommodations elsewhere. I sent a message to the hotel through Orbitz and never got a response. Nearly a month later, I still have no refund. Orbitz claims they need permission from the hotel, and apparently the hotel denied the refund request."

"What I liked about this hotel was the central location and friendly staff. What I didn’t like was the design of the rooms and some noise. Who puts tinted mirrors in a hotel room? Oh so cool, and yet, the lighting and mirror situation were so bad you simply had to guess (or use your own mirror) if applying makeup. The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom which was odd but manageable. Noise from the bar one of the nights was also a problem."
