“Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.”

“Very nice staff. Straight forward public house atmosphere. Beer tasting and band playing downstairs well into the evening, but not a significant issue. Nice breakfast and really beautiful surroundings.”

“One night stay in this historic house now being used as a hotel located a short walking distance from Hawick centre set in an attractive garden with a wonderful park nearby.
Lovely interior with large attractive lounge, entrance hallway and staircase. Large bedroom and en suite bathroom.
The Large king-size bed was firm and therefore not that comfortable.
Breakfast was a standard traditional option with cereal and juices.
Not much interaction with staff except at check in and ordering breakfast....
