"The Hotel is 35 minutes drive to Downtown Vancouver. If not a taxi or an Uber, you have to take the SkyTrain a couple of blocks away and one stop in between, depending on where you want to go in downtown. No terrible but a little incovenient. More so in winter time than summer."

"Our stay at Ocean Promenade Hotel was very enjoyable overall. The room was clean and up to date, and the showers were amazing. The location is truly hard to beat, sitting right across the street from the water and directly on the main boulevard with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were fantastic at check-in and very welcoming, taking the time to give us lots of helpful information about the town. We also appreciated having a cafe attached to the hotel. The only real issue we had was parking, as a spot in the underground lot is not guaranteed and there are more rooms than stalls. Since that was the case for us, we had to deal with the headache of finding street parking, which can take time on a busy day and may be a bit of a walk from the hotel. On top of that, street parking means having to pay until it becomes free overnight, then either paying again or moving the vehicle in the morning, which we did not appreciate. That said, we would absolutely stay here again. The location alone is worth it, and if this is one of the only hotels left in White Rock, it is definitely a place to keep in mind."

"We had an excellent stay at this Holiday Inn during our trip to Vancouver. The hotel was very clean, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a family of five. The location worked well for us. Just keep in mind that traffic into the city is usually busy at almost any time of the day, so that's something to expect regardless of where you stay. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. I have only two suggestions for improvement: it would be nice to have complimentary coffee available in the lobby for a little longer during the day, and to extend breakfast until 10:00 a.m. on weekdays, just like on weekends. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so pleasant. We truly appreciated your hospitality and would be happy to stay here again."
