"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Our first trip to Crete couldn’t have been more perfect! We stayed in the Junior Suite with a private pool for five nights, and from the moment we arrived it truly felt like home. The property is absolutely stunning! We actually found it hard to leave because it was so peaceful and beautiful. The private pool made our stay feel extra special, and every corner of the hotel was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. One of the biggest surprises was the food. We had planned to explore different restaurants around the island, but the meals at the hotel were so delicious that we ended up eating most of our meals on the property. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend the seafood orzo at Alati. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations, and it made our first visit to Crete unforgettable."
