Santarena Hotel at Las Catalinas
The breakfast was yummy both days that we were there, and the service at the restaurants was top-notch! However, we were disappointed not to have a swimming pool available to use as guests at Santarena Hotel. The rooftop infinity pool was way too small for the number of rooms available.

Casa Nahua Hotel in Tamarindo
We enjoyed the pool after going to the beach. The beach was very close and lots of shops and restaurants were nearby. We appreciated the location. Monkeys were in the trees when we woke up! That was a great surprise!

Toro Blanco Resort
We were able to check in early which was a great relief after travelling all night. There is lots of safe parking. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the main street with lots of restaurants but was still quiet. All the rooms have their own sitting space outside the room overlooking ...
