"I just got back from a trip with 3 of my girlfriends to attend my niece's Bachelorette Party weekend. We stayed at Planet Hollywood; overall a solid choice, especially for the location. You're right in the middle of the Strip with easy walking access to the Miracle Mile Shops and an incredible range of restaurants and food options right on the property or steps away.
Our room was spacious and comfortable for four women sharing, with plenty of room to spread out, and the beds were comfortable, which made a big difference after long days of walking. The AC did have some trouble keeping up at first, but hotel staff responded quickly and replaced the filter, which fixed the issue.
A few things held it back from a 5-star stay: we had to specifically request housekeeping rather than it being automatic, and when our room was cleaned, overall cleanliness could have been better; we noticed dust buildup on top of the armoire and around the vent. The room decor also felt a bit dated compared to the newer resorts on the Strip.
Bottom line: Unbeatable location and comfortable beds make this a good option, but the housekeeping and upkeep could use some attention."
