“A great overnight stay when doing the Leith Walk. Nice bar, good proper grub in the evening. No breakfast available but we knew that so no issue and there are cafes nearby. Bathroom needs a bit of a freshen up but was clean enough. Would certainly stay again as good value for money.”

“First time i have stopped at this hotel but it will not be the last really pleasant owners and staff lovely big room and on suit bathroom and great breakfast at a nice price. Plus it has it own pub.”

“Great location, close to the A1, with the pub nextdoor and also Asda and a garden centre just up the road. Staff at the pub were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. Tea and coffee available in the room. Okay for a one night stop over.”

“Fake tan stains were in the bath from previous guest. Hot water took almost 10mins to come on. Outdoor had a few broken planters and weeds coming through the floor. Kitchen was closed for maintenance so there was no food options until breakfast the next day. I could hear people going in and out their rooms until about 2am and then starting again at 6am. I have stayed previously and was impressed but this time just felt like lack of care was given.”
