It was not expensive but there were lots of unacceptable things about this hotel. No air conditioning or fan. Rooms are hot. Shower stall extremely small. Severe internet problems - very frustrating for guests and staff who said it was a longstanding issue for the hotel. It took several trips and requests to the front desk staff to attempt connection and finally to be told only my device would be allowed to connect as they have limits. Too bad for my wife. To top all this off, the front desk is completely closed for several hours during the day each day. This is unacceptable. The hotel is very old and the area surrounding it it kind of seedy. Its a 15 minute walk to the Metro which is it’s one redeeming feature. Even though we are not fussy travelers we cannot recommend this hotel or the area

Skuffende oplevelse – forventninger ikke mødt

Vi havde set frem til et hyggeligt ophold, men blev desværre meget skuffet over værelset. Det værelse, vi fik tildelt, levede slet ikke op til billederne og beskrivelsen på Hotels.com. Ifølge billederne havde vi booket et almindeligt dobbeltværelse med dobbeltseng – i stedet endte vi med et værelse med en meget lille seng placeret på en hems, som var meget lille og knirkede hver gang man rørte sig. Værelset var også ekstremt varmt, især oppe på hemsen, hvilket tvang os til at sove med åbne vinduer. Det førte desværre til endnu et problem, da værelset lå direkte ud til den lille terrasse foran hotellet, hvor folk sad og røg og talte (og ofte råbte) højlydt helt til langt ud på natten. Det gjorde det nærmest umuligt at få en ordentlig nattesøvn. Alt i alt en meget skuffende oplevelse. Hotellet bør være mere ærlige i deres markedsføring, og det værelse, vi fik, bør ikke præsenteres som et almindeligt dobbeltværelse.

The toilet room smelled like urine. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom. But otherwise My room was comfortable with the fan on and window open. I appreciated the kitchenette. The Expedia site said there was laundry on site but I had to walk 8 min to a laundromat. But the laundromat had instructions in English and big machines that worked quickly. Great location to get where I wanted in Lausanne.

Clean and good location, but it is an old building and the insolation is nonexistant. If your neighbors are noisy, you hear them!!! The street is usually quiet, except twice a week when they pick up the garbage at 6.30 AM The wisteria was lovely at the end of April

O atendimento na recepção foi péssimo! Estava com uma idosa de 70 anos e uma criança de 3 anos e simplesmente cheguei no hotel 13 hrs e a atendente falou que o hotel só abriria 15 hrs e fechou a porta na minha cara. Falei que estava com malas grandes na rua e ela somente apontou para a placa informando que o hotel estava fechado! Péssimo ! Não indico esse hotel a ninguém

The room was really average, but acceptable for the price - sparsely furnished but almost sufficient. What really bothered me was that it was dark: there was no overhead light and only one bedside lamp with a 15watt orange bulb that even when directly pointed at a book did not provide sufficient light to read. The brightest light was in the bathroom - the spotlights built into the cabinet over the sink - useful! But too far to serve as a reading light for the bedroom. There was a desk but no desk lamp and only a small light over the tv (a useless piece of furniture if you want to read) and the tv completely blocked it so you couldn’t really use the desk either. The room was overheated but the windows did open. The place seems quiet at night except I got unlucky with some street noise from a loud drunk… The bed was clean but there was a pee guard under the sheet that covered the middle area of the mattress - sth kept bunching up and I thought it was the sheets until I pulled out that plastic lined sheet about 20 inches wide. That was odd… Probably would stay there again - but must remember to bring my own reading light!!
