Don't miss Hôtel Le Résinier

Very nice place, room was fresh and well cleaned, friendly and professional personnel, excellent french food, reasonable price level. We had a very nice stay and can highly recommended Hôtel Le Résinier. Just half an hour from Bordeaux Airport.

Dont risk getting the same room as us

I booked a suite and stayed for two nights which was a clear mistake. The setting of this hotel looks absolutely lovely and to be fair it is. The room we stayed in was far from lovely however. The toilet was horrible – stained for at least many months due to not being cleaned properly – they maybe need to invest in a different kind of toilet brush - I just cant understand on other reviews how this hasn’t been mentioned before as the hotel has so many great reviews. The shower also needed a complete refurbishment - what was presumably a historic soap dish fitting was hanging off the wall and past fittings that had been removed had left holes in the wall that had not been filled or disguised and the shower floor was either dirty or chipped – I wasn’t going to find out which. I couldn’t even bring myself to complain as I find it quite insulting to think that this standard is something they could possibly offer to a guest and if I had complained I felt I could really lose it with them as, for the facilities to be so bad, they clearly wouldn’t ‘get it’ and no doubt the other rooms cleaning standards would have been the same. The ‘suite’ that we had booked was a mishmash of rooms. The bedroom was small but fine and the aircon was good. The next room (the suite bit) was very small and dark with no window apart from a small window put into the top of the door with a sofabed facing a wall where you would ordinarily expect to sit and watch TV but no TV & not a nice place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij gehad! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen werden we vriendelijk en professioneel ontvangen bij de receptie, waardoor we ons direct welkom voelden. De kamer was misschien wat aan de kleine kant, maar dat werd ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de uitstekende netheid. Alles was piekfijn in orde en brandschoon, wat voor ons erg belangrijk is. Ook het eten was van topkwaliteit. Elke maaltijd was heerlijk verzorgd en smaakte perfect. Het personeel was daarnaast attent en gastvrij, wat de ervaring alleen maar beter maakte. Zelf hebben we geen gebruikgemaakt van het zwembad, maar het zag er werkelijk waanzinnig uit. Alleen al bij het zien ervan krijg je zin om er meteen in te duiken. Kortom: een prachtig hotel waar werkelijk alles klopt. Van de service en hygiëne tot de faciliteiten en het eten. Voor ons absoluut een dikke 5 sterren waard en zeker een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 sterren.
