“Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. “Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. “L'hôtel est idéalement placé près du centre historique. S'il est un peu vieillot, il a beaucoup de charme. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner ne propose pas une immense variété de produits, mais largement bien assez, et surtout avec des produits excellents. Enfin, le service: notre véhicule était en panne en partant de l'hôtel; le personnel nous a offert un café et des viennoiseries en attendant le dépanneur. Merci pour ce geste.”
