"I have stayed at the Royal Hotel for 3 consecutive years whilst visiting a friend. As a solo traveller I find it so comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful that I would not stay anywhere else in Ross on Wye. Good value, excellent food and very clean and comfortable rooms."

"A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away."

"Lovely clean room to the rear of the building, with complimentary towels, coffee, tea, tv etc. Plenty of parking to the front of the pub, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended 👌 "
