โWe had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. โ
โSuch welcoming staff who were so helpful in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful, really tasty and lots of variety. The full Scottish breakfast was a firm favourite! The room was super clean and quiet. A lovely stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, which a quaint village feel. This has a family feel to it! Thank you, my 7 year old son would love to stay again. โ
โThoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Excellent choice and quality of breakfast and and also bar meals.
Room was very tidy, comfortable and quiet.
Good location to access beach, train station, bus routes and 10 minute walk to local shopsโ
โWe decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely.
We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. โ
โThe room was clean and welcoming and bright. It's furnishings were modern and new. There was a well stocked snack basket and the Tunnock's mallow on the pillow was a welcoming touch. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and minutes away from shops and restaurants. I would gladly return for a stay in The Folly.โ
โThe Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at ยฃ6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Also the music being played was dire
. Funeral music โ
โThe property was very clean and conveniently attached to a restaurant/bar. The staff were AMAZING! The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if youโre looking for a quiet spot out in the country! โ
"It's a good hotel. Above all, the location is the best. The facilities and hygiene are also good. However, the shower room drainage facility is inadequate."
