โFabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. โThe receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches...
โThis has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.โ

Was late arriving and early leaving so did not get a chance to try the restaurant. Was very quiet for been so close to a road so had a very peaceful and relaxing sleep. I would return again.โ
"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, itโs a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.
