"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. "Absolutely perfect little hotel. Beautifully decorated throughout. The hotel owner was really welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel most welcome Fantastic morning breakfast. Chinon is a lovely little town with a number of restaurants and a lake side bar. Great little over night pit stop for us to help us on our way to the south of France."
