Levante Riviera, Italy hotel rooms at the Starhotels

The room was excellent! The staff were wonderful—charming and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning both to Rapalla and this hotel.

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. Amazing property smartly outfitted with an attention to detail that is rare! Staff is lovely and inviting. Felt as if I were visiting a wealthy eccentric friends villa in Italy!! Will be back for sure.

To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

The property was lovely but the staff was another level. Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant, the spa, and the door staff were all welcoming and accommodating. Simone and Jessica made our entire stay completely hassle free. The restaurant had great menu and the food was excellent. Highly recommend, I can’t wait to be back.

By far the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The attention to detail is mesmerizing. The staff all know your name, your dining on the finest china, with the best silver, the products are Acqua di Parma, the breakfast is incredible. Simply flawless

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend! There is also easy access via ferry to gorgeous San Fruttuoso and Portofino! There's also a train very close walking distance from the hotel that you can take to get to the Cinque Terre towns in around 45 mins. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

Unique historical hotel with old city walls within the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and a great breakfast.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

What a beautiful hotel! The room was clean - the staff very helpful and the breakfast abundant. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful plus to have the van drive and then pick us up from dinner. I would certainly recommend this hotel
