“Upon leaving Tavistock it was quite an adventurous scenic drive traveling to Kilworthy Farm and received a friendly greeting from Sandra when I arrived. I found my 2 day stay during August 2026 enchanting; " Far From The Madding Crowd". My hosts inclusive of Arthur were charming, obliging and helpful serving delicious wholesome food. I had two nights sound sleep in my comfortable room and bed. The location and accommodation are full of homely rustic charm.”

“An amazing renovated farmhouse with Nicky and Kevin as charming helpful hosts in the lovely village of Samford Courtney. Clean comfortable bedroom with en-suite. Great breakfast. Nicky provided clear directions to the Tarka Trail path where we viewed the sweet scent of bluebells. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.”

“The first thing we noticed on arrival was the vary small amount of parking available. We had to find a spot round the back. When we got inside the lady was very helpful and showed us up to our room. It was directly above the bar but the noise was not intrusive. The bed, while comfortable, squeaked with the slightest movement, but as long as we stayed still, it was ok. The bathroom had no lock, and the door latch didn't work so the door couldn't be closed. We had to wedge it shut with towels...
