"Pools good Breakfast excellant Room good size It would have been good to have a more extensive evening menu Room rate expensive"

"Hotel location was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean but the walls are thin so you can hear adjoining TVs and voices. It's worth packing some earplugs if you like an earlyish bed time."

"Wonderful location would certainly return."

"Great location, great historical building with lots of character. A wonderful team at the Inn made us very welcome. Highly recommend."

"Lovely room - we stayed in Clovelly - friendly staff - overall a great stay👍"

"The room was perfect for us and really enjoyed the breakfast!"

"Set in beautiful grounds was lovely to sit at the top of the gardens with a glass of wine taking in the view. Nice room, not particularly big. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great both evening and breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Excellent staff, excellent room, excellent breakfast."

"I wasn't provided with check in instructions, so when I arrived I felt a bit lost. I asked inside Greggs and Subway, they informed me that I had to go to the petrol station to collect my room key, it was smooth from there. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom needed a little TLC, cracks on the bath, ceiling, marks on the floor. Had free WiFi, TV, and tea / coffee facilities. Bed was comfy and clean. Good value for money. Would stay again as very convenient for short trip"

"Friendly small hotel. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good too."

"Ideal parking with just a short walk into town nice and clean everywhere breakfast always a treat"

"Clean and comfortable historic inn with fabulous staff and tasty food. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"Lovely host and breakfast. Room was perfect for a 2 night stay."

"Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!"

"Lovely friendly hotel with comfy rooms and a great home cooked breakfast to order"

"Fantastic hotel Staff & owners are very special to their guests 3 time staying here outstanding breakfast"

"This is an excellent family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Tavistock. The room was spacious and even though the room was facing the road, I could not hear any traffic. The location was excellent and I loved the character of the road and houses. I would visit again."
