"Convenient location. Quiet. AC was better than in many 3~4 star hotels"

"We arrived at the property at almost 7 pm. We had booked 2 rooms for 4 people. When we got to the property they only had 1 room reserved and told us that the cleaning lady was not done cleaning our rooms yet. We left for dinner and came back and the rooms were "ready". We had reserved 2 rooms with 1 king bed in each. Room 1 was clean but the TV did not work. They did give a discount for the inconvenience. Room 2, the room I stayed in, smelled of fresh paint. It was bare bones. A desk, desk chair and a bed. It had construction dust in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable enough. But again not what we expected. In the morning, I went to get in the shower and the handle came off. It is a super 8. I did not expect much, but it was clear they are remodeling and our room was almost down. Probably won't stay here again."

"We paid A LOT of money to stay here, in fact more than we had ever paid for a hotel room. It was so disappointing. It was old and rundown. The tub was cracked on the edge, the towel rack was barely hanging on. We came here because of the pool but it was ICE cold, and no one could use it. They offered for us to go across the street to another place, but that totally defeated the purpose. For the money they charge, we can’t understand why they don’t even heat the pool. The ‘Quality’ was totally missing. We will never stay here again and don’t recommend it for anyone else."

"The pool was still ‘closed for Winter’ even though this is one of the busiest weekends of the year - Graduation. Poor planning, and furthermore not noted in booking in advance, or communicated after booking and before arriving."

"It’s my third stay at McCoy hotel and they have all been good! The people are always welcoming and the hotel is fun. The oatmeal bar is a nice change of pace!"
