The spa facilities were closed, we were in in February and it was closed then too. The room was good and enjoyed the air conditioning in the room. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The room was clean and the service staff made our bed up, they changed the cups in the room but not the glasses which was a pity. Overall it was a good place to stay.

For our 4 night stay everything was good. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel as we had catering at the FOCUS festival in Newark. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Our only gripe was that the lift was out of order for the whole 4 days, so we had a bit of a climb to the 2nd floor.

Lovely staff on reception. There is a bar area with comfortable seating and we felt very welcome. We were given a huge room which was spotlessly clean as was all the hotel which was very nice to see.

Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok.
