The Lincoln hotel is very centrally located, a great place to stay for exploring the historic centre of Lincoln. It is very peaceful and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A good breakfast selection too.

Located virtually next to the Cathedral and within easy walking distance of all the 'upper' streets of Lincoln, with their restaurants and bars, it is in an ideal location with it's own carpark too! Should you venture downhill to the riverside and modern shops, the bus back up the hill stops outside the hotel!! The only thing to beat the excellent breakfast is the stunning view of the Cathedral from the restuarant window. The room was quite comfortable and quiet with all ammenities and our 5 days there were very satisfactory.

Stayed here for 1 night in a triple room. Even though the room is ready for a bit of a refresh it was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has nice areas for for a drink or something to eat or just to relax. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing.

I think the location of the hotel is excellent a couple of minutes walk and you are in the old part of Lincoln which was what we wanted as we were going to an event at the Castle. We have stayed here before a few times but in all honesty I think the hotel is starting to need a bit of a revamp in the bedroom and hotel corridors especially. That said our room was clean the breakfast this morning was good with plenty of choice available, and the staff were really friendly and pleasant.

We always stay at the Lincoln hotel when visiting Lincoln. Staff are always helpful and attentive. Location of hotel is excellent, having breakfast whilst looking out on the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral. Good on site parking (there is a charge), very close to the Bail, Lincoln Castle, Cathedral (dating back to 1072). Had evening meal there, food was very good and prices good to. Would highly recommend a stay here

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Lincoln, was good value and our room was clean and had everything we needed. Generally the hotel was looking a little tired and the restaurant looked rather soulless so we opted to eat elsewhere.

Good location with its own car park. Room lacked enough power points but was otherwise well equipped though beds were small and lighting was poor and it was somewhat dusty. Bathroom lacked some basics like towel rails and extractor and the shower was not adjustable. We felt unsafe standing in the bath. Breakfast was adequate and the view from the eating area was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Room was clean and fresh although the bathroom ceiling could do with a bit of attention. Staff were very polite, cheery and helpful. Parking was easy and seemed to have plenty of spaces. Although we paid for 2 days breakfasts we only actually went once, there was plenty of choice and would recommend. My only disappointment was the garden, we paid for garden view room but there was not much view. The grass was dead although I did expect this with all the hot weather but shrubs and trees needed cut back, there was cobwebs all around patio area and the garden furniture was very tired looking. It was nothing like there photo on the website. It was more like a waste land. But saying this we had a great stay and would come back.
