Great staff members. Very helpful when I went down for breakfast and top rate room service for all my meals when I wasn’t able to go down for meals due to a foot injury.

Beautiful place to stay , breakfast is great , staff are great and room is beautiful. Lots of thing to eat and close to the ocean/walking trail. Pool was open in the winter which is nice.

The hotel is in a safe, quiet area and enjoys beautiful sea views. Everything seems to run smoothly and our grandchildren really enjoyed the swimming pool. We only ate in the hotel at breakfast time - an enjoyable and plentiful buffet, although a few changes from day to day in the selection would have been nice. Within a 5 minute walk there's an area of restaurants and opposite there's a small supermarket. The walk into central Cascais was a bit longer than I'd expected ( around 50 minutes along the coast road ) but the hotel's reception can order taxis and they arrive within a couple of minutes.

Our stay was nice in the beautiful town of Cascais, Portugal. A couple of things to improve on would be the breakfast buffet. We were there for 3 mornings and not one time were the eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausages hot. On the last morning we were there early cause we were checking out and the eggs were cold!! Also we didn’t like the barking dogs!! We understand it is an apartment hotel but the dogs were very annoying. Especially while sitting outside by the lovely pool at the bar enjoying a cocktail….other than that our room was comfortable & clean and had a nice view of the sea

Pestana is good, only thing i did not like about the rooms were the really high bath tub. you had to step up really high to get in and the door didn’t shut all the way so water got all over the floor. the couches in the rooms i was in were stained. other than this the hotel was fine.

Lovely hotel, great service, friendly staff. The hotel also has a free shuttle service to and from Cascais town (not on weekends) although it is a lovely walk along the coastline. The bar staff make great cocktails!

Size amd cleanliness of room was good but very dated. Old mattress, old pillows, etc. Badly needs a makeover and maintenance of bathroom fixtures. Location was excellent. Fair value for the price we paid but still a little underwhelming for a Pestana property.

Best go-to in Cascais, and probably greater Lisboa

Staff are great, especially front desk - always well staffed, professional, efficient, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Pool perfectly warmed. Outdoor pool also maintained and usable. Easy stroll to Pingo Doce, farmacia, and endless spectacular coast, including the mouth of hell.

Great location

The staff was wonderful. Full buffet breakfast, with a wide variety of food. On site parking. Walking distance to many sites in Cascais, as well as the train station. Refrigerator and microwave, with basic kitchen utensils. Kettle can be obtained on request. The only negative was a sewer smell, however, we noticed this also when out walking so it may just be a city problem, not a hotel problem.

Old hotel but nice big room

Honestly, if we didn't have an offer on the room price I would find it too expensive for what it is. Yes there is an indoor swimming pool, yes the room was massive with a balcony, BUT the hotel is very old, the bathroom is from the 70s and the hotel is far from the city center.

Hotel sited amidst multi-storey blocks in urban situation. Some noise from traffic and building construction. Cheap transport into Lisbon area. Hotel offered free hourly taxi service to local station on weekdays. Large supermkt within short walking distance. View of bay but no local beach. Outstanding staff, good English spoken, helpful, friendly, welcoming, ready to assist on any issue. Nearby National Park worth a tour. Highly recommended for adults, not much to do for children.
