“The place was great but the road to it is very narrow and in places steep, but worth the stay. Teresa, one of the owners, wasn't in so we didn't have the cooked breakfast. We have nonetheless a very good breakfast as we didn't want a heavy one. There are only 3 rooms but they are clean and spacious. ”

“This reservation was a saving grace after a VRBO reservation was ignored by the owner in Dingle. This is a wonderful property and the manager is a gentleman without equal. He was upset at the cost we had been charged and adjusted it to my advantage as it should have been. The room was great and the breakfast was superb. I could not recommend a place more if folks are heading to Tralee.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!”

“Very wonderful location and beautiful hotel. The card key access locations straight off the elevator (also card key access) felt secure but a little inconvenient. The room was clean, the beds were some of the comfiest I've slept in, and the AC worked well. Great stay.”

“Staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate any requests. We are group of 4 families and the owner arranged kitchen staff to make breakfast to our liking and packed for some of our members who could not be on site for breakfast. We would definitely recommend the place without hesitation. ”

“The property is luxurious and well furnished. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The only drawback is there are no refrigerators in the rooms unless you’re in a deluxe room. That being said they do have a refrigerator at reception you can request your items be stored in. There is a restaurant on site, but we decided to walk to local pub and the hotel itself was well placed near multiple pubs, convenience stores and pharmacy, which we needed.”

“Definitely stay here if you’re a deep sleeper. Night club sounds are consistent throughout the night but I drowned it out eventually! Room was clean and check in desk were very helpful in finding local spots to hit up. They even held onto my luggage before my room was ready so I can go out and explore.”
