“We stay in hotels around the beaches quite a bit and this one has been my least favorite. The location is in a weird intersection that is difficult to get in and out of. The room was mediocre as far as cleanliness. Coffee grounds left on the counter top and coffee maker, there was sand on the floor. The beds are uncomfortable, pillows are flat. I asked for extras and got the side eye but he did end up giving them to me. There was three of us in the room and only two sets of towels. After a...

“Room was clean, big and the bed was really comfy. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice. Close to everything in town. We were only here one night and it served the purpose well. Definitely a solid place for what you pay. I stay in hotels a lot as a seasoned avid traveler and we would stay here again. Same room. ”

“The room was great for the price but the refrigerator didn't close and the pool wasn't available. Also their website says breakfast but no breakfast and the restaurant that's attached to the building is permanently shut down. So it doesn't have all the features u are expecting. But I'd stay again based on the room and price. ”

“Excellent location and room! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck/dock in the morning with our tea watching an osprey family nearby. We had everything in our room to be comfortable and to make our own meals or a short walk for area restaurants. ”

“I have stayed at this location at least a dozen times over the past few years. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean but the building itself is in need of repair. Some of the upper floors appear treacherous-some had construction supports while I was last there. Rugs are covering upper walkways that are in need of stain etc. Several restaurants have closed on the property so options there are dwindling. Still plenty of boutiques left if you like to shop. “We had a very nice stay at the tiny house! (Keep in mind, it is tiny) But very comfortable!! An unique experience and the property was outstanding compared to all the other units in the vicinity. It had a nice spacious canal front deck, and kayaks with a launching deck. Complete mini kitchen and great coffee preps. The beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean and updated. Decorated nicely! Loved the loft! Great alternative to a hotel room. We would definitely stay at Matlacha Tiny...
