This is a very old inn. Floors are all very creaky and uneven. We were on the ground floor and it was really noisy. Once we finally crashed, (quiet hours) the bed was very comfortable and I don't think either one of woke up until the morning!

Staying here was a unique experience because the hotel is full of historic charm and character. The rooms were quirky but clean, and the window air conditioners kept them comfortably cool even on hot days. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom between the rooms, which worked well for us. The only downside was the clawfoot bathtub, which made showering a bit challenging. The location was excellent—right on the main street with plenty of restaurants and charming shops just steps away. That said, if you have mobility concerns, you may want to consider a more modern hotel, as there is no elevator and the parking area is a short walk downhill from the property.

The room shows a lot of wear and tear and in need of refurbishment and a deep clean. No hot water even after letting shower run for 10 minutes. The one positive was a comfortable bed. Air conditioning is a window unit that was extremely noisy and very dusty. Overpriced in my humble opinion for the amenities and condition of room.

Honestly The town is in poor condition and very rundown. The hotel is historically interesting but needs major renovations. Interesting shops . Would I make a special trip there ? No. Beautiful untouched countryside and mountains. You really have to use your imagination if you want to see a Pollyanna town . Good movie !

The room was clean but not well maintained. It had a great window AC unit that kept it cold. The room itself, including the bathroom and bedding, were clean but not well kept in the long term. The windows were so dirty on the outside that they looked frosted in spots. The side table was gone and instead was replaced with a large mini fridge as a side table. It was an awkward height to have next to the bed as a table and made it feel cramped in an already small room. The room lacked a lot of the charm that it has in the website photographs. The inn is also very loud during the mid to late morning and day but was very quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful especially with parking.
