“What a fantastic and peaceful 5 night stay. The hut was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. “Really nice grounds and private lodges. Hot tub was lovely. The lodge could have been cleaner - the blinds were dirty, there was dust on the light shades and dirt around the edges of the rooms. The boiler worked but it didn’t seem to warm up the main living area. We ended up putting the oven on and leaving the door open. “Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs.
