โFabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor.
Our roomโ room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over.
An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.โ

โWe had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. โ
โJust a one night stay for us as we were attending a wedding. Really lovely stay, staff all friendly, room was beautiful however it didnโt smell great but otherwise lovely and clean, view lovely and breakfast was lovely I felt terrible for leaving it because it was so delish!โ
โBeautiful stay! Very comfy family room with a king bed and a single, fan provided as it was HOT! Very small bathroom but very clean with lots of towels. Gorgeous terrace for drinks and beautiful breakfast the next morning. The only suggestion would be the terrace is maybe reserved for residents as we wanted to go in for another drink and it was full which was a shame. But cant blame them, it was gorgeous there! Thank you for a lovely stay!โ

โI stayed for one nite in room 3 top floor. Itโs situated at rear so away from Main Street at front , therefore so quiet . Lovely room , my gut feeling is the breakfast would be great , but I had to leave early so unfortunately canโt comment . Parking for my motorbike was easy and also at rear. Would definitely stay here again . โ
