"I booked this listing with the understanding that we were going to be the only occupants. Upon arrival we discovered a gated and locked staircase to the upper level. Concerned that the upper floor might be occupied or possibly available for another rental booking, we called Hotels to confirm again the sole occupancy.
Satisfied that the accommodation would surfice we retired to our beds.
I awoke to the doorbell ringing at 11:30 PM.
