"Things they don't tell you. - Only one $$$ restaurant and a $$ sports bar that did have a wide assortment of food but no kid friendly options. - Gym is on the 4th floor. (21years and over) was convinced for most of our trip that they did not have one. However, even if I was aware of it, my 17 year old would not have been allowed in. - And finally, the pool is only 21 and over. My kid was extremely upset that they were not allowed at the pool. Something they had been specifically looking forward to all week. So overall the hotel may allow kids to sleep there, but it is not kid friendly as advertised. My kids are 17 and 10 just for reference."

"I have stayed at the Santa Maria Inn multiple times for business and recently for personal reasons due to a family loss. Based on past positive experiences, I recommended it to my family for a family service. Upon arrival at 2:00 PM, I requested a slightly early check-in but had to wait until 3:00 PM, causing me to be late for the service. Even then, the room was not ready, and I had to return later to check in. I discovered the room had a single king-sized bed instead of the reserved two queen beds. The front desk apologized and offered a rollaway bed, which was not ideal. At midnight, we faced a door issue; the rollaway bed blocked access, and the upper latch was engaged. My keycard didn’t work on the second door. A staff member made new keycards but couldn’t open the door, requiring an engineer’s help at 1:15 AM. Despite the staff’s efforts, the experience was disappointing due to the series of issues, including not being able to check in on time and not receiving the reserved room. "

"Rated as 2 star motel. If so, best two star motel we’ve stayed in. Large, clean comfortable room and beds; ample drawer and closet space; newer TV; microwave, refrigerator (with sm freezer - not a for fee minibar refrig) and coffee maker. Pleasant front desk staff, across street from RV campgrounds where friends were staying; clean pool and spa; nice outdoor covered dining area for continental style breakfast and coffee. Reasonable rates. What more can one ask for?"
