"The room was exceptionally nice, with a balcony and a couch and a large bed. Two water bottles everyday. The room was very clean and quiet. Parking was free and simple. The Craft House at Corque had great choices for breakfast and also for lunch and dinner."

"The hotel is old and not taken care of. The room alarm clock was not turned off by cleaning crew. The alarm kept on waking me up. There was a stranger walking around the hotel lurking. Person next door to my room had to confront him and asked him to leave the premises. I can’t say much about the staff. The interaction was very short. For breakfast all they had was a few unpacked Danish pastries, coffee, and tea. It was worth the price. Not to mentioned, they didn’t communicate there was going to be a city event during check in time. Which blocks the entrance to the hotel. I had to be escorted by a police officer to get to the Hotel. Overall, it was disappointing and I won’t stay there again nor do I recommend it. "

"Terrible value for money. We paid nearly $400 for one night, and it’s just a basic hotel I’d expect to pay $200 tops for - nothing luxurious or unique. Service was terrible. Paid extra $50 for breakfast that ended up just being a bottled juice from concession rack and continental style yogurt, oatmeal, or bagel… unreal. We thought we were getting breakfast at restaurant when we booked. This should’ve been free and included - we thought we were getting a meal at restaurant. And it took 25 minutes to get the oatmeal and yogurt despite the fact the restaurant was deserted and lots of staff around. I would’ve been surprised if we wanted that long for a whole hot made-or-breakfast, not 2 things they had to scoop. Unreal. Not in center of town either. A male worker also unlocked and walked straight into our room at 10am, despite us having a do not disturb sign on and check out being 11. Scared our kids and fortunately everyone was dressed. Place is clean and modern, so that is the good side. Just not anywhere close to being worth the money spent. I fully regret booking this here."

"The room smelled very musty and the toilet didn’t work properly. It flushed but the paper stayed and didn’t go out. The breakfast was good but the overall stay in Solvang was a waste of time since stores close by 4:30 and the majority aren’t even open Monday and Tuesday "
