The room was a great size. I love that the vanity was separate from the shower area so it was easy to get ready. Also love that they have a microwave and a fridge. Very walkable location, stay gave great recommendations on places to see.

Staff at check in was very nice and welcoming. Bar tender seemed overwhelmed and we couldn’t get a drink in V Lounge. Property is older and a bit run down, fan in bathroom didn’t work and our balcony neighbors were 420 friendly so our whole room smelled. It’s one of the least expensive properties in Solvang though. Our first time there to visit. The location on edge of town was convenient to walk to everywhere.

We loved that the hotel was just far enough from the main hustle and bustle of town to feel peaceful, yet close enough that we could walk to everything in just a few minutes. Being dog-friendly was a huge bonus since we’re dog lovers. The only suggestion I have would be to allow the third-floor windows to open Fresh outside air is something we really value, and it would have made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again, but next time we’d choose a room on the first or second floor. The park behind the hotel was beautiful to look out over, and we were treated to stunning sunsets from our room on both evenings. It was a wonderful experience overall.
