더운 날엔 비추
침구, 방 모두 깨끗하지만 샤워가 몸 돌리기 어려울만큼 좁아요. 조용한 동네에 오래된 예쁜 건물인데 에어컨이 없어 더운 날엔 힘들 것 같아요

The room had willow bug… had no paint , As I complained one of the staff came killed one of the bugs and said it’s fine…. I already killed it!!!!

The hotel is older but still really nice. The location is great for Kew gardens and some really special restaurants and bars.

You’re a stones throw from Kew Gardens Station and half that to Kew gardens itself. Nice Room, great staff, it’s a Pub hotel with bar and good food.

Give it a miss
Pretty poor - dirty, badly maintained. The weekend staff were classically lacking in much sense of customer service. Although the manager I met on Monday morning was great. I realize this is a "budget" place but you can offer budget and still be clean and pleasant!

Simple stay in Kew
Lovely pub in a beautiful area. 2 minute walk from station so really good location for exploring Kew and Kew Gardens. The room was comfortable, clean had a bath with a novelty in London hotels. Value for money was great. A little wear and tare but nothing I would expect. The mattress could do with replacing in my room, but it wouldn't put me off rebooking. All in all I'd recommend for a night or two.

The room was quirky layout but nice. Everything went smoothly. it had a separate entrance to pub which was good as came back late. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Ideal for Krw Gardens
Booked this hotel as close to a Kew Garden visit short walk to Victoria entrance .. and very close to tube station from central London … has a bar & restaurant which was excellent… room was cozy, warm and clean .. would book again if in the area

The hotel was lovely and the food at the pub was fantastic. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. To note - expedia does not charge you at time of booking and you need to pay on arrival so just a little hiccup there. The location is lovely though no elevators so if you have mobility issues a consideration. Additionally all of kew is on a heathrow flight path so it's a bit noisy, but does die down at night thankfully. Kew neighbourhood is wonderful and a nice step away from the stress of london - a wonderful place to commute from if you're leaving out of heathrow the following day.

It's a quaint little hotel, nice size rooms, restaurant/pub downstairs, convenient to tube station and Kew Gardens. Friendly staff, good food. The room (8) needed another lamp in the corner and it needed a grab bar in the slippery tub/shower for safety. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed in three rooms, on each floor. At the top floor the room had a bathroom big enough for a toddler. The windows were difficult to open, no elevator to take suitcases up, rooms were outdated with a musty smell, low chandeliers, bathroom walls looked like it was cracking. The only reason it was booked was to see the KEW gardens. I would not book this hotel again

Wedding at Kew
We were disappointed that the hotel was covered in scaffolding. The view from room was blocked. Also on one of hottest days we had no air con only a fan. to open window was impossible because of plane noise, also due to our age we struggled up 3 sets of stairs. The breakfast was expensive and did not include tea and coffee

We stayed at this hotel years ago and loved it. The price was half of what it is now and the booking included a great breakfast. This time the staff could not care less about your well being, and it was much more expensive. Perhaps the owner sold or there was a change in management. It is very sad to see this place fall apart.

Helpful Staff, Nice beds and newly renovated bathroom. the building itself is old, old carpets, creaking floors. So it is nice but with some rough bits. I would stay there again.

It pains me to be so negative because one particular member of staff was very friendly and accommodating. If not for him, we would have considered the stay a complete fail. This hotel is very overpriced for what you get. We stayed on the second floor and were not informed before checking in that one of the windows in our room was broken and covered with plywood. It was very hot during our stay and we could only open one of the windows. The bathroom was small and not very clean. It had a fair amount of black mold on the caulking. Overall the room was sad and in need of a facelift. They don’t offer any kind of discount for dining in the pub below, which was surprising based on our experience staying at other similar hotels in London. We had one breakfast and one dinner, both of which were just okay. Being within walking distance to Kew Gardens isn’t enough to justify the price.

Very convenient for Kew Gardens and TNA
I stayed a single night because I was visiting Kew Gardens and The National Archive. it is very close to Kew Gardens tube station and an easy walk to both the gardens and TNA. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Menu looked good but I didnt eat there so cant comment on quality of food. A pleasant easy stay.

It was super cute. The room was more than what we needed and was plenty comfortable. The pub downstairs had great options for breakfast and dinner (even for vegetarians like me and my partner). The area was painfully cute. I'd happily stay there again.

There is NO lift at this hotel. It’s a 3 story hotel but it’s two flights between each floor. I was on the top floor so I had to take a part my luggage and take it arm load by armload up 6 flights plus two mini flight by myself. I’m 55 years old. I asked for help and was told they don’t do that. There was no air conditioning, which may have been noted on their website, so I had to keep the tiny windows open. And the hotel is directly into the landing and take off pattern for Heathrow. The young lady who worked at night had to spend over a half hour with me helping to figure out how to open an account with whatever the company is to provides the works slowest WiFi service. I am grateful to her for the help. And she bought me a drink afterwards. There is no Kew gardens WiFi. The location is fantastic for visiting Kew Gardens and it’s a few blocks from the station. But I am still reeling over the fact that it took me around 5 trips to carry all my personal effects to the room. And the lady working the desk and the bartender in the pub just sat there watching me! Unless you’re on the first floor (which remember is still two flights up) or are young enough to walk up and down that baby stairs don’t stay here. They do have a phone in the room but there’s no office/lobby/pub number so I had to walk all the way down to get help with the WiFi. It was really appalling to me.

Close to Kew Gardens and the tube for access to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. When there was a hot water line break, repairs were made quickly and did not affect our stay overnight. It did preclude dinner in the pub but other excellent options were available within walking distance.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the little town of Kew Gardens. Easily accessible to the sites of London, but nestled in a quiet, thriving residential neighborhood.

Great location for the garden
Brief stay to visit the garden and nearby family. It was a great location for the garden and there is a small shopping area just down the street with food, coffee, and some stores (all near the tube station). It is further to Richmond's center and we took an uber (train would have worked, too). Staff were friendly and we had a great lunch in the restaurant. The room was definitely showing some wear. It didn't come across as dirty, but perhaps time for a little refresh and touch-up. The free wifi is actually the town's public wifi from what we can tell. It worked, mostly. Certainly not the fastest and you have to register (though it is free). The sheets did have a heavy fragrance (assuming from the detergent?) that was a little irritating to our sinuses. If you have bad allergies, I could see it being an issue.
