위치는 아주 좋아요 근데 방에서 꿉꿉한 냄새가 나서 컴플레인을 했더니 스프레이를 주면서 뿌려보라며.. 이게 냄새가 호불호가 있을수 있다했는데 방에서 나는 냄새는 그런 향이아니라 전반적으로 나는 꿉꿉한 냄새여서 없어지지 않았고 에어컨에서 냄새가 나는거 같아 그것도 끄고 생활했습니다 외관은 화려하나 실내는 좀 별루고 호텔앞 택시에서 짐을 내려도 거들떠도 안보는 그런 무례한 행동에 다음번엔 절대 가지 않을꺼에요

이제는 갈 생각이 없는 호텔
예전에 일을 볼 일이 있어서 이 호텔로 숙소를 정하고 좋은 경험을 했기에 다시 숙박했습니다. 이번에도 주변에서 중요하게 봐야할 일이 있었기 때문에 결정했습니다. 하지만 이번엔 정말 좋치 않았습니다. 저번과는 다르게 조식시간에 서비스를 하던 직원들이 형편 없었습니다. 눈을 마주치고 차를 달라고 하려고 해도 눈을 마주치기가 힘들었고 조식이 뷔페식이여서 자리를 비우면 그릇도 제대로 서빙이 되지도 않았습니다. 그리고 저번 경험은 호텔 밖으로 나갈 일이 많이 없이 호텔 안에서 일을 보는 시간이 많았기에 조식이 끝날 때 까지 앉아 있고 차를 마셨는데 이번엔 그렇게 하지도 않았습니다. 기분이 나빠서 노트북도 올라가지고 올라가서 객실에서 일을 봤습니다. 다시 말씀드리지만 제가 일을 봐야해서 예민해서 그런 것 일 수 있으니 참고해서 들어주시길 바랍니다. 숙박시설에 오래 머물러야해서 룸서비스를 틈틈히 이용했지만 스프를 제외하고는 실용적으로 먹기에는 형편 없었습니다. 특히 스테이크는 고무 씹는거처럼 강했고 랍스터 맥앤치즈는 다른 호텔에서 먹은거에 비해서 랍스타가 정말 엄지손톱만한 크기 한 덩어만 들어있고 나머지는 일반 맥앤치즈가 아닌 소스가 적은 파스타를 먹는 기분 이였습니다. 그리고 호텔 시설도 침대에 있는 독서등 또한 작동 되지 않아 게스트 서비스로 연락해서 엔지니어를 불렀지만 결국 고쳐지지 않았습니다. 물론 그 순간에 강하게 어필해서 고쳐달라고 하든가 객실을 바꿔달라는 노력은 하지 않았습니다. 그 당시 볼 일 때문에 급한 마음에 짐을 다 풀었는데 옮길 기세도 없었고 심리적으로 복잡했기 때문에 모든 상황이 예민해서 더 신경이 쓰인 것 일 수 있습니다. 그 상태에서 미니 바를 봤을 때 꺼내기만 해도 결제가 되는 시스템이여서 간이 냉장고를 올려달라고 했습니다. 거기까진 충분히 좋았습니다. 하지만 90년대에나 볼 수 있는 허름한 냉장고가 와서 걱정했었습니다. 역시나 작동하다가 멈추고 제가 밖에서 사온 개인 음료나 음식이 상해서 먹지도 못했습니다. 이미 룸서비스에서 신경이 쓰여서 밖에서 가볍게 우유와 파스타 샐러드를 사왔는데 작동이 안되어서 파스타 샐러드는 상한 줄도 모르고 허겁지겁 먹으려다가 뱉어냈고 우유는 미지근해서 기분이 상하길 이만 저만이 아니였습니다. 물론 다시 바꿔달라고 요청했지만 교체 전에 엔지니어가 확인을 해서 고쳐준다고 하고 말을 못 이어갔고 결국엔 엔지니어가 와서 교체해주었는데 전에 냉장고와는 다르게 근래에 나올 법한 냉장고여서 한 번 더 울화가 치밀었습니다. 처음부터 좋은 것을 주면 되는데 이걸 못해서 사람을 여러므로 복잡스럽게 하는구나 싶었습니다. 호텔의 스토리나 인테리어는 올드패션 느낌이 강해서 분위기가 나쁘진 않으니까 올만하지만 조식이 잉글리시 블랙퍼스트 뷔페식으로 맛은 좋고 룸서비스는 굳이 시킬 이유가 없었습니다. 직원들은 대체적으로 친절하나 실제적으로는 얼굴이나 제스처만 친절하지 그 이상은 없습니다.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Couldn’t be more convenient for Eurostar. Food in the restaurant is also excellent.

This hotel is my favorite in London. The room is specious and comfortable and the dining room is ok. When the dining room was full in the night time, they gave me the special members room and we enjoyed good dinner there. Chekout operation was really nice. They left luggage and called a taxi for us on scheduled.

Severely disappointed with what was supposed to a 5 star establishment and the lack of service along with basic room facilities such as heating. I would have rather chosen a b&b and saved over £400. Would not recommend this hotel as it’s very dated and maintenance is not a priority. I would recommend visiting the restaurant as they had enough staff however the rest of hotel was not adequately staffed to charge the £900 they wanted for 2 nights. A lot better hotels in London for this cost.

Wonderful property with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Great atmosphere, as well. We really enjoyed the 1862 Booking Office restaurant, especially at breakfast. Very well worth it!

Very nice cocktails in the bar and friendly staff. Only issue was no one said about tapping the room card in the lift to go to upper floors as never had to do that before

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Great service, staff at St Pancras Renaniance friendly, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant the Booking Office is just wonderful great ambience and decor, notbtonmentuon rhe food. Gym is state of the art. Spa looks great unfortunately only used the swimming pool and gym.

Teapot-free zone!!
Amazing place- the older rooms have good facilities and great views. The public areas are very nice. Only disappointment was trying to get a decent cup of tea in the room!! When I've paid a significant amount of cash for a grand junior suite i really expect better facilities than a shabby little tray with two teabags, a didgy kettle, and a couple of those awful tiny pots of 'milk'... How about some proper milk in the fridge and a teapot??? Even when i asked for a tray of tea for two to make up the shortfall, the guy turns up with - fanfare - a tray with two cups, two teabags, and a thermos jug of tepid water. Come on people - you should do better than that. Oh and the bathroom had no heating at all so it was freezing......

Absolutely ideal location for arrival into St Pancras with under cover walk through the station. A taxi to Stratford for the ABBA Voyage concert and return made the whole trip most enjoyable. Lunch and breakfast options were very nice

The hotel is stunning from the outside, bar and restaurant. The spa is small but atmospheric. Unfortunately the rooms are very average and be warned the photos on the website of the rooms are not accurate. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We generally give generous marks for most stays, but this was our biggest disappointment in decades of travel. The site shows a radically different view of the interior rooms; the interior rooms are two star quality, the hall carpets were dirty throughout. While having a drink in the bar, we saw a mouse. When we let our server know, and he told us they get them all the time. It’s a beautiful building that any person would like to stay in if they could afford it. I would suggest that they pass the on the stay, find a nice boutique hotel, save money, and just take a selfie from the outside! The ONLY plus of this hotel is its location to transportation.

Reception staff were lovely but long wait for service - need more staff! Requested room with bath - room bland and tired/shabby - I was told renovated rooms only have a shower. Communal areas lovely and stylish but very busy with non-residents

Brilliant Nostalgic Hotel
Very beautiful nostalgic Hotel with lovely atmosphere. Check in was brilliant, we could already occupy our room at 10.30 am, thanks to very friendly ..?.(see picture)! Restaurant very impressive with excellent food and brilliant breakfast. Pool very exotic with lovely warm water and very clean.

From the time of my arival the experience was amazing The concierge Gordon was super helpful. The checkin process was seamless and professional. The service from the welcome call to the champagne at check in was fantaatic
