It’s a nice and chic hotel. I love that they have saunas and bikes available for the guests. The location is perfect! It's beachfront and close to the boardwalk. The room is clean and spacious for 2 guests. The shower has strong water pressure, which has always been my issue with other hotels. However, my only con about this hotel is that it has thin walls. I could hear every step and banging of doors from the upstairs guests. When they do make sounds, the walls in our room vibrate and could be very irritating if you want to sleep early or sleep in.

Great place to stay. Some of the bad reviews on here did not hold true. We were near the restaurant and it was quiet. Staff was pleasant. Lots of great restaurants and things to do nearby.

I was a bit thrown off with the check in process. We arrived a little early so I thought I would check in and they would text when our room was ready. The first thing she said is did you pay for early check in? I had no idea you could. I said no and she said we have no rooms available. No problem ! They did charge for a pet which was fine. I do wish they would post in a more obvious place all there extra fees. They provide complementary ear plugs because you can hear everything. I was glad we were only there for one night. It’s in a beautiful location and accessible to everything.

Stayed here 10 years ago. Loved the location, scenery, access to boardwalk, and the lovely restaurant- Pickled Fish. It’s still just as good now. Tried out the pool and sauna this time & thoroughly enjoyed the set up and atmosphere.

Did the trick for a quick weekend getaway. Older hotel that’s been updated and sound really travels through the walls but the beds were comfy and the shower was amazing.

It is a little primitive so if you’re looking for luxury it is definitely more rugged and it is loud as you can hear people playing games (drunk people being very loud and obnoxious) but thankfully quiet time starts at 9 but you can hear people walking back and forth above my room until 9. For the price of the room it isn’t worth it.

Bed was very lumpy and not too sure about the cleanliness of the bedding. We love dogs but maybe dander on the bedding - allergies went crazy!! Room was very very noise. People talking and so many barking dogs! Complained once to the front desk and it got a little better.

Elevator and half way down my hallway stank of a chemical smell, like gear oil. Floor pieces in rooms entry were loose, would pinch your feet when walking on them. Pool is in separate building... While my daughter and I walked back we were in a downpour, passed thru office to ask for a couple more towels... Person at desk naggedbus about how they only want to have one towel per person, because its too much work to have all the towels out, while another staff member went and got two towels for us, without saying a word. Political ideology on full display, bombarding you from the lobby on up to the restaurant. Thats cool and all, be who you want to want to be and believe what you want... But keep politics to yourself... We go on vacation to get away from that stuff. It creates a very divisive and unwelcoming environment. Which may be the point. If you dont believe as they do, you arent welcome Its a nice spot and facilities-wise its no better or worse than any other place Weve stayed in LB, but will probably not return to Adrift

We liked the availability of bicycles and the heated pool and sauna. We didnt like worn out mattress and ridiculous prices at the Restaurant. Please give us a table in our room other than a tiny end table. Impossible to play board games. I know the vibe is supposed to be hip and funky but our room came across more as the found furniture on the side of the road.

The hotel is great! Wonderful location, great views and lots to do on a nice day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Two thumbs up!

Super convenient, reasonably priced, excellent location and a nice place to stay. The restaurant was excellent. The mini fridge was a little loud, but glad to have it. Best shower ive ever had at a beach hotel. Ill definitely come back!

Amazing warm soaking pool, saunas, restaurant, and game areas. It was so rainy and windy while we were there and there was enough to do "on campus" that we had so much fun even when we couldn't go outside. The quality of the rooms and hallways are fairly low-budget. Common areas are very nice. We'll be back.

The whole place was enchanting and queer friendly. It was a bit loud in the room and pool area but we would stay again. Food and spirits were incredible!

Lobby is cozy with a coffee bar as well as 24 hrs coffee to enjoy by a fire place. Rooms are spacious, clean. There are Ping Pong table, Foosball table and Shuffle board on second floor, a restaurant on 4th which also offers great views of the ocean and beach. Access to board walk and beach is about a 2min walk.

This property is great for families. The pool is excellent, the dining is amazing at the pickled fish! With the recent addition of the espresso bar, it really makes it easy to just go and enjoy the beach and all of the area attractions without having to go to 1 million different places just to get your day started.

A great port in a storm!
We arrived at 11 PM in an ice storm which prevented us from getting up the hill to our home a few miles away. Desk clerk Oriana was hospitable and helpful, assisting our safely getting into the building, showing where we could charge our electric car, advising about morning meal options, and providing much-needed toiletries. It felt like greeting old friends! The room was clean, safe, warm, and dry. After a restful sleep we checked out with morning desk clerks who were less effusive but equally helpful. Much has changed since my first visit to Adrift Inn 12 years ago, but the down home warmth of the staff, simply comfort of the guest rooms, and lure of the Pacific Ocean beach have continued to welcome visitors to Long Beach, and factored into my decision to move to this community. I didn’t anticipate needing a hotel room here since I live here—but was grateful for Adrift in my hour of need!
