"This is a well-maintained older motel, comfortable and quiet. No breakfast. The man at the desk, who may have been the owner, seemed in a rush to get me checked in and without conveying much appreciation for my business. The refrigerator in the room was turned off, and after turning it on I found it made a loud noise every few minutes and turned it off again. The coffee cups are not wrapped, and there was one tiny soap. On the plus side, I got a great price on the room."

"The host knew the area well and was very helpful. The location was perfect between a walking/rail trail and the view of the bridge, we stayed local for most of our trip. Breakfast in mackinaw city, a drive over the bridge & we used our complimentary casino cash. And then just settled in to our beach house resort. We are already planning on another fall visit next year ♡"
