Clean and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Fascinating location. The long walk to town turned out to be a huge bonus. Cam't beat that scenery.
Clean room, Warm, good sized bed, quiet location, and clean bathrooms w/ good showers
Only “complaint” is that breakfast gets crowded in the morning
Otherwise 5/5
Excepcional place!
I highly recommend the place, the staff is very friendly, they really make you feel comfortable at all times, the place is comfortable, strategic for walks around the city, has incredible views, the staff helps you with any questions you have, the theme of the place is easy to interact and socialize, very good vibe.
I loved my stay at Guesthouse 102. It’s converted from an old miners housing which is very cool! It’s super cute and cozy. Breakfast was lovely (the waffles were the best). The staff are wonderful - thank you Khristin for helping me with bookings tours - she was the best)! It’s about 1.5 mile walk to the city center and you have to take your shoes off before you enter, which I really appreciate (so bring some slippers or indoor shoes to wear). I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m back!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good selection of food for breakfast. Bedroom and restrooms are clean. Thankful to have a common kitchen area to cook food. Very slippery road on the way up to the property when we got there because of snow/ice. Overall a very good stay.

A week of heaven in the Arctic.
Once I learned the kittle trick to locking/unlocking the room door everything was great. Angie and Giorgia were top notch.Located right at the end of the road which I really liked. You were only 100 yards from the polar warning sign and the beginning of “wilderness” where you need a rifle in case of a polar bear encounter. Close enough to walk to town or you can call a cab if you want to.
Staff was very hospitable and the surroundings were serene. However the location is slightly far away from the town centre. Without any transport, at least 30 minutes of walk is needed to get to the town centre
4 night stay, there was 3 people in 4 people room, two bunk beds, wardrobes, sink. Very warm place, but its easy to open a window. Breakfast included. The hostel is about 25 min walking from a town centre. It's a good pick place for a trips. Taxi to the airport cost less than 200 NOK. The firls in the reception are very helpfull.
