"The room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. My wife and I had our dinner and breakfast both at conservatory, the place made people really comfortable. The spa was excellent. If every room has a safe available, the hotel will be perfect."
"Really good central location and easy to access parking.
Staff were friendly and attentive. We made use of the pool which was clean and quiet at the time we used it.
We were upgraded to the presidential suite on arrival which was spacious and had a great view of the river.
There was some noise throughout the night from the main road which runs alongside the hotel, I would imagine this gets less on the higher up floors and is an unavoidable factor of staying in a central location,"
"Pros:
The woman who helped us gather our keys after 6 hours of traveling.
Breakfast was pretty good and varied. Lots of protein and carb options plus fresh pancakes.
Location is central and Tesco’s is nearby.
Daily housekeeping. Hard to find that in most hotels these days.
Spacious rooms and excellent blackout curtains.
Cons:
Asked every time we went to the front desk if we were checking out. That got tiring. We were there for 3 nights but everyone kept thinking we were only staying for one. I don’t expect them to remember the details of all the guests but it got to the point where the key cards stopped working because they assumed we checked out.
Staff a bit hit or miss. Some were lovely, some kept us waiting for ages but didn’t apologize or preferred to chat with other staff. I’ve been to hundreds of hotels. Basic hospitality is about the customer in front of you and dealing with the situation then and there.
Room could’ve used a safe, mini fridge and/or a microwave for the space.
Carpets and curtains in room could use a good cleaning. Lots of mystery stains.
No facial tissues or shampoo in the bathroom, which was unusual."
"Wonderful hotel. We were there only one night but I would have loved to stay longer. We enjoyed dinner and drinks in their restaurant and it was delicious."
"Well situated for exploring the Fermanagh Lakes and nicely placed in a small town. There is a famine memorial nearby which is worth a visit. Maybe not the cheapest but good in any event."
