“Fran, the owner, was great; very friendly & helpful. The accommodation was clean & well-appointed. All in all, I'd recommend the place for a weekend stay.”

“Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

“Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future.”

“The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand...

“Due to a rather very poor inter-floor sound insulation between the 2nd and 1st floor,from 5am to 6:37am, a constant thudding more akin to an elephant 's footfall, repeated loud dropping of heavy items,by a guest who probably wasn't aware of, or cared very little, meant disturbed sleep floor below. Will not be staying here again!”

“Beautiful building, spacious room, center of the city. This was a great spot, and I’m glad we stayed there! It was a hike up the stairs, so be prepared with your bags. However, the spacious room was worth the hike.”
