IT was a fun stay but I don't think the price matched the quality of the room. The furniture was old, it smelled kind of funky and the elevator was sketchy. The breakfast, live intertainment and free drinks were pretty cool though. Over all I would stay there again if the prices were lower.

I really want this hotel to survive, but you are living on borrowed time. You are at least 5 years behind in improvement and renovation. Carpeting, vents (rusting and filthy), damaged plaster ceilings, door key cards working 50% of the time, television in bedroom freezing in both rooms I stayed in. Eventually this property will fall in on itself. Hilton needs to invest. This is a property with great location and potential.

Carpets, furniture, wall paper, and appliances need to be replaced. I believe they are doing a few rooms at a time. I loved this hotel as a kid and I believe my kids did too. The breakfast and breakfast crew performed above and beyond.

I forgot TOOTHPASTE!! The front desk had a little tube for us for free! The breakfast was good and the happy hour snacks with two free drinks from the bar were GREAT! My room was a little old looking, the couch was from the 80’s and the bathroom doesn’t have a fan, so the condensation made the places where the paint was chipped look all rusty. The bed was clean and comfy so it’s all good.
