Our room was on the smaller size, but with all the fun stuff to do between the on-site Shovel Handle Pub and literally being in the same parking lot as Black Mountain, you don't need to spend much time in there. “My wife and I stayed Mothers Day weekend and was surprized how nice the property was. We have always driven by staying at numerous locations around the North Conway area and alway wanted to check it out. Our unit had a balconey facing the mountains, Not a large balcony but big enough to sit outside abd get some afternoon sun. The only draw back is our balcony is joined with 2 other rooms which we had to make sure the drapes were closed when we wanted privacy. Although never had anyone walk by. ”
