The barn where they meet guests is not where they spend the majority of their time. This space is used for guest interactions with them for a very limited period of time. Their living enclosure is much more spacious, and we work with a veterinarian who visits them regularly to ensure that they remain in good health. However, we greatly appreciate your feedback and will look to create alternatives for our water buffaloes when they are outside of their living enclosure.
