"It is a delightful place to stay. Family operated and a hidden jewel on Route 66. Rooms spotless and the people are wonderful. They are bringing back an historic motel. It is a bargain for many reasons including the price. Unless you just want to stay in Amarillo, you save a lot here."

"A nice place. As I was checking in I asked about the pool and was told that it was open but there was a chain & lock on it. Later, I saw some people in the pool and wonder if it was employees. I asked if there was a handicap room or at least first floor. We were assigned a room on first floor but as far from the front as could be. After lugging our things way down there, I found out that we could have parked in the back close to a door near our room. I wish the woman checking me in would have mentioned that, especially since I'd mentioned handicap. And she watched me walk by with everything. It was shift change time and the person taking her place was very helpful. If it wasn't for this woman, I would have given it 5 stars all around."

"I drive from CO to TX regularly and have stayed at a lot of road-side hotels on the route. I usually travel with dogs and bikes, which require a large, pet friendly room. This was the largest and nicest room, in the value space, with a reasonable pet-fee, that I've stayed at in several years, and will become my spot to-stop on the route moving forward. The only thing that could use improvement, was the coffee/breakfast situation - but again, what was there was serviceable. We look forward to staying there again in the future!"

"Loved the place . We stayed in a cottage an it was clean. We got there on the 1st day when it was rainy an cool ,2nd day we were out an about. When we got back the cottage was very hot ,thats when we realized the ac unit was not working at all ,so I did message threw Expedia app since thats where I was communicating threw with all my questions. Never got a response. We had a hard time getting to sleep that night since it was soo hot and then the next day finally got a hold of someone . The cleaning lady came to try to figure out the ac unit an was unsuccessful did bring us some sort of small fan that needed water but that also did not work. An no one else seemed to care that we were miserable in the hot cottage. No one got back to check on us. So we had a 2nd night trying to sleep with the heat of the cottage mind u it was around 85degrees out. Other than that it was a great place to be at. Laundry facilty you do have to download an app to wash or dry and the app makes you load $25 minimum."
